Lake Sunapee Waterfront house

This new house has well planned outdoor spaces to enhance the owners’ enjoyment of the gorgeous, wooded, lakeside lot. Careful consideration was used to preserve many of the mature trees that exist on site and to design a landscape that takes advantage of the outstanding views and beautiful existing stone outcroppings. db Landscaping LLC was involved in preparing a comprehensive site plan and a storm-water management system. Crushed rock infiltration beds, foundation drains, sump pumps and a series of rain gardens were constructed to mitigate rainwater from the rooftop and driveway. Disturbed areas were re-vegetated with native plants. The landscape features Goshen stone patios, incorporating the existing ledge and taking advantage of its location to provide meandering access to the waterfront.
